During our closure we are going to have the gym deep cleaned to ensure a safe and clean facility. Rest assured that Olympus Gymnastics is professionally cleaned and sanitized. Please be patient with this process and realize this may take several weeks but everyone currently enrolled through the end of March will be able to make up their lost class time. We understand the concern for missed classes so, we are going to be contacting each family to schedule make up classes for the two weeks that we are closed. We will reevaluate the situation by the end of the 2-week period (March 28th) and go from there. We do not make this decision lightly due to the fact that every hour in the gym we are under the 100-person gathering limit that has been recommended by the Governor.Īs always, safety is our first and main priority at Olympus Gymnastics. While no confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been made in South Jordan, we want to do out part to fight the spread of this virus. When the groups have finished, have them find and space and lay on the floor. Ask them to try two different balances that follow on from one another. Have the children balance on their back, bottom, shoulders, sides and stomach. Give them a few minutes to practice balancing in different positions. Explain to the children that they are going to practice balancing. Have them practice jumping and making shapes with their bodies in the air.
